Our Associate Network
Known people. Proven together. No bench.
When you engage Intology, you are not buying access to a pool of whoever happens to be available. You get Richard Keenlyside's direct leadership and, where the work needs it, senior associates who have already delivered alongside him on previous engagements. People whose work we know, whose judgement we trust, and whom we would put our own name behind.
Why we work this way
Most consultancies carry a bench: salaried consultants waiting for their next assignment. The cost of that bench does not disappear. It is built into every client's day rate, and it creates pressure to place people on engagements whether or not they are the right fit.
Intology does not carry a bench. We build each team around the problem in front of us, drawing on a small network of associates we have worked with before. That means:
- You pay for the people doing your work, not for the people waiting for theirs.
- Every associate is chosen for the expertise your programme needs, not because they are free.
- The team's size follows the work. When a phase ends, so does its cost.
Known, not sourced
Our associates are not names from a database or a recruitment shortlist. Each has worked with Intology, or with Richard Keenlyside in previous programme and executive roles. We have seen them deliver under pressure, in front of boards, and when programmes went wrong. That shared history is the basis of trust. We know how they work and they know how we work, so there is no settling-in period at your expense.
A niche practice, by choice
Intology focuses on a defined set of problems for PE-backed and growing businesses: business transformation, programme assurance and recovery, technology leadership, and M&A technology advisory. Staying niche means our network is deep where it matters, rather than broad and thin. If your mandate falls outside that, we will tell you.
One point of accountability
However the team is formed, the engagement is Intology's. Intology contracts with you and sets the standard, and Richard Keenlyside remains accountable for delivery. Associates work to our methods and standards, so your experience is consistent whoever is on the team.
Independence carries through
Associates are held to the same independence principles as Intology: no vendor commissions, no referral fees, and no hidden commercial relationships. Advice from an associate is as independent as advice from us.
What this means for you
- Cost: senior capability without paying for a large firm's overheads and junior layers.
- Speed: a trusted team mobilises quickly, because the relationships already exist.
- Continuity: the network adds depth and cover, so you are not relying on one person.
- Honesty: we will not stretch a team or an engagement to fill capacity, because we have no spare capacity to fill.
Tell us about the programme.
We will tell you who we would put on it, and why.
